Great book ) I love the storyline and the characters. This is a short book only takes 2 hours to read. This book has alot of twist and turns that keep you reading to the end )
Zoe is new to town and opening a bakery. But on opening day, she also has to cater a meeting for the mayor with her famous double chocolate cup cakes. When taste tested by the yoga teacher, they are pronounced a huge success/ However one bite and the mayor falls down and dies. As the gossip spreads rampidly through the town, everyone accuses Zoe of murdering the mayor. In an effort to prove her innocence, Zoe and her employee Lacey, start investigating. Many ideas are discussed and people interviewed. Logical conclusions don't turn out the expected way.
Come meet Zoe and Lacey and some other key players in this series. It is a fast and fun chance to see if you can figure it out before Zoe does.
I found this new cozy mystery to be a pretty good start to a new series. I liked the characters and look forward to seeing where the author takes them in the future. The story was a cute and easy read, yet the ending was not one that the reader would necessarily easily see coming. My only critique is in the editing where there were several sentences that should have been caught before publishing, and I generally do not let editing bother me when reading a book. Overall, I think it was worth the read and I have hopes that this series will continue to be entertaining and hopefully keep us guessing till the end.

I truly enjoyed this book! I stumbled upon it looking for cozy mysteries from another author and took a chance. I'm hooked. Going to go look for the next book in this series. Definitely recommend.
